{"id":35,"date":"2020-06-24T17:12:24","date_gmt":"2020-06-24T22:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fbsubsidence.org\/?page_id=35"},"modified":"2020-12-16T21:15:16","modified_gmt":"2020-12-17T03:15:16","slug":"mission","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fbsubsidence.org\/staging\/9247\/mission\/","title":{"rendered":"Mission"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The District performs the following activities directed toward fulfilling this mission by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical research, data collection, and studies to determine and predict the extent of subsidence and available groundwater supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of regulatory and management plans based on the best available science.<\/li>\n<li>Issuance of permits to withdraw groundwater for beneficial uses in amounts that are not detrimental to the aquifer system or land subsidence.<\/li>\n<li>Pursuit of enforcement actions, when needed, to achieve the objectives of the District.<\/li>\n<li>Participation with other local and state entities to achieve the District\u2019s goals<\/li>\n<li>Cooperation with neighboring groundwater districts, governmental entities, and alternative water suppliers to assure that adequate supplies of water are available for future use.<\/li>\n<li>Accessibility of public information about groundwater withdrawal, subsidence, conservation, and actions of the District.<\/li>\n<li>Administration and operation of the District in a fair, equitable, and responsible manner to the benefit of all interests in the District.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The District performs the following activities directed toward fulfilling this mission by: Technical research, data collection, and studies to determine and predict the extent of  [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"nf_dc_page":"","footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-35","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
