This temporary suspension allows for telephonic or videoconference meetings of governmental bodies that are accessible to the public. Information on the Governor\u2019s order can be found here:\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/gov.texas.gov\/news\/post\/governor-abbott-allows-virtual-and-telephonic-open-meetings-to-maintain-government-transparency\">https:\/\/gov.texas.gov\/news\/post\/governor-abbott-allows-virtual-and-telephonic-open-meetings-to-maintain-government-transparency<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The District office will remain closed\u202findefinitely\u202fto the public as we work with local officials to protect the safety of District staff, permittees, and the community. However, District staff are working remotely.
