S. Geological Survey (USGS)<\/a>\u00a0will present preliminary findings for the Gulf Coast Land Subsidence and Groundwater Flow (GULF)-2023 model. The USGS will discuss the methodology, data compilation and collection, and preliminary results of the model calibration. This meeting will serve as the third groundwater availability model stakeholder advisory forum.<\/p>\n<p>The District is working with the USGS and the TWDB to develop the (GULF)-2023 model that will simulate the impacts of groundwater use on aquifer water levels and land subsidence.
