The Fort Bend Subsidence District holds public hearings on the first Thursday of every month to provide information and accept testimony relating to the issuance of water well permits. A public hearing notice is published, listing the entities with applications scheduled to be acted upon by the Board of Directors. All public hearings are held in person on the 6th floor of the Travis Building in Richmond, Texas.
Any person who desires to appear at the hearing to make public comment, present testimony, evidence, exhibits, or other information may do so in person, by counsel, or both and must provide advanced written notice to FBSD staff by clicking here.
